FAQ

Top 5 Questions

  • It depends on scope. A site of around ten pages usually takes two to six weeks, depending on complexity and the amount of interactions, video, and animation. More complex platforms, with many services, a large e-commerce catalogue, or bespoke animation, can take up to twelve to fourteen weeks. We give you a milestone timeline before you sign, with target dates for design approval, development, and launch.

  • A professional brochure or business site generally runs between €3,500 and €10,000. A Shopify or WooCommerce store with 100 to 500 products typically runs €6,000 to €12,000. Custom web apps start at €15,000, with larger, more complex builds going further. Cost depends on scope, custom development, and integrations, and every site is bespoke, with UX tailored to your business model and SEO built in from the start. Anything priced below €3,500 is almost certainly a resold template with no UX research and no SEO. For an accurate itemised figure, send us your project details.

    Let's do something great together
  • Yes. On final payment you own the website, source code, design files, and content. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name, not ours. We hand over all logins and documentation.

  • Send us your goals and a rough budget. We recommend an approach, outline scope and timeline, and give you a clear proposal to review before anything is signed. To begin, we need your goals, examples you like, any brand assets or content you have, and one internal decision-maker who can give feedback and approvals. Clear input and quick feedback keep the project on schedule.

  • It depends on scope and how you engage us. Our day rate is €800. For most projects we work to a fixed project price or a monthly retainer rather than by the hour, so you know the full cost up front. Project-based pricing is agreed up front and we hold to it. Retainers start at €3,500 a month for steady support and scale to €40,000 a month for full-service partner teams. We give a clear breakdown so you know what you pay for at each stage.

1. About MSVE

Who we are, what we do, and how we work with you.

  • We run your online presence and help you grow your business. That covers strategy, brand and design, websites and e-commerce, SEO and content, paid advertising, and analytics. We act as an extension of your team and cover work you would otherwise hire several specialists to handle.

  • Yes, we are full-service. We cover full-stack creative (brand and design), content and SEO, digital products (websites, apps, WordPress, custom CMS, and e-commerce), and growth marketing. Take one service or one job, or have us run your whole online presence as a single joined-up programme.

  • Brand identity, websites and e-commerce, product and UX design, content and SEO, and paid growth campaigns. Some projects are one-off, others are ongoing retainers. Tell us the problem you face or the outcome you want, and we help from idea to execution to results tracking.

  • We work across many sectors and adapt quickly to new ones. Industry experience shortens the ramp-up, but it is not essential. Strong fundamentals like clear positioning, good UX, and measurable marketing carry across fields. Every project starts with a discovery phase to learn your market, customers, and competitors, so the work fits your business rather than a template. Ask us and we will share the most relevant work.

  • We are selective. We take on brands where we can add real value and where we align on goals and deliverables. The easiest start is a quick chat about your project. If you are not sure what you need yet, we are happy to talk it through.

    Tell us about your project
  • We are a Dublin-based agency and work remotely with clients across Europe, the UK, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. Location is not a barrier. Some clients prefer a shared Slack channel, others prefer weekly calls. Our process stays the same and our communication flexes to suit you.

  • We build custom. Every site and identity is bespoke, with UX tailored to your business and SEO built in from the start. Where a proven framework saves you time and money without hurting the result, we use it and tell you why. You always know which approach a project needs.

  • The core work is done in-house by the team you meet, so quality and accountability stay with us. For specialist production we do not keep in-house, such as large-scale video shoots, we bring in a vetted partner and tell you when we do. You always know who is doing the work.

2. Full-Stack Creative

Brand identity, design systems, logo and print, motion and video, illustration, prototypes, and UX and UI design.

  • It covers everything visual about your brand, from the logo to the design system to motion and illustration. You get strategy, brand identity, UX and UI design, prototypes, and production assets from one team, so the work stays consistent from concept to launch. Ask us about packages for the full setup with ongoing support and maintenance.

Give us a call and we can discuss it
  • A logo is one mark. A brand identity is the full system around it: colour palette, typography, imagery, layout rules, and usage guidelines. It sets your colours, tone of voice, and the impression your brand leaves.

  • A design system is a reusable library of components, styles, and rules that keep every screen and page consistent. You need one if you have a website or app that will grow, or more than one person creating assets. It speeds up design and development and stops your brand drifting over time.

  • It depends on the logo and the artist, but we usually provide two to three initial concepts and two to five rounds of revisions. We define what counts as a revision versus a new direction up front, so scope stays clear.

    Tell us about your project
  • UX is how a product works: structure, flow, and how easily a user completes a task. UI is how it looks: layout, colour, type, and detail. You need both. Good UX makes a product usable, good UI makes it clear and appealing.

  • Yes. We prototype so you can test the flow and interactions before anyone writes code. This catches problems early, when they are cheap to fix, and gives developers a clear reference.

  • Yes. Motion, video, and illustration are part of our creative work, so your brand stays consistent across static and moving formats.

  • Yes. We handle full rebrands and lighter refreshes, including logo, identity system, messaging, and design systems. If your brand has recognition worth keeping, we evolve it rather than replace it. We audit what works, keep the parts your audience knows, and update the rest for current use across web and digital.

3. Digital Products

Websites and apps, headless CMS, WordPress, UX and UI design, API integrations, Shopify and e-commerce, legacy upgrades, and compliance.

  • We match the platform to your needs. For custom sites and apps we build on modern stacks with a headless CMS. We also build on WordPress, and on Shopify for e-commerce. We review your business needs and recommend the platform that fits you best.

  • A headless CMS separates your content from how it is displayed, so the same content can power a website, an app, and other channels. Use it when you need speed, flexibility, or multiple front ends. Use WordPress when you want a familiar editing experience and a large plugin ecosystem. We recommend based on your goals, not a fixed preference.

  • Yes. Maintenance covers security updates, monitoring, backups, and content fixes, available as retainer packages or pay-as-you-go. We also provide hosting with 99.9% uptime on fast European servers, or we work with your existing provider, with accounts in your name.

    Tell us about your project
  • Yes. Legacy upgrades are a core service. We map your current URLs, set up redirects, carry over metadata and structured data, and check content parity, so your rankings and traffic are protected through the move.

  • Yes. We build and customise Shopify and other e-commerce stores, including custom sections, product pages, catalogue work, and integrations. We also handle store performance and migrations.

    Check our e-commerce projects
  • Yes. We connect your site or app to the tools your business runs on, such as payment, CRM, analytics, and third-party services. We scope each integration against your current stack first.

  • Yes. We build in accessibility best practices: logical structure, readable contrast, proper heading order, alt text, and keyboard-friendly navigation, and we help with legal text. We run every site against WCAG and EU accessibility-law checks before launch and give you documented results, so you know you are covered. Accessible sites also tend to rank and convert better.

  • We build data protection in from the start: lawful cookie and consent handling, clear privacy notices, secure forms, and careful treatment of any personal data your site collects. This matters here, as Ireland's Data Protection Commission is one of Europe's most active enforcers, so we set up your site, analytics, and any AI or chat features to comply.

4. Content, SEO and Copywriting

Technical SEO, research and audits, AI search visibility, strategy, multilingual content, website and UX copy, and blog articles.

  • SEO is the work of helping your site rank for the terms your customers search. It takes time because search engines need to crawl changes, build trust, and rank you against established competitors. Anyone promising instant top rankings is not being honest.

  • No, and be cautious of anyone who does. No agency controls search results. We commit to sound strategy, the right technical foundations, and steady, measurable progress on the searches that matter to you. We have achieved consistent high rankings for our clients this way.

    See our work
  • An audit reviews site speed, mobile performance, crawlability, indexing, broken links, metadata, structured data, and internal linking. Technical SEO then fixes those issues so search engines can read and rank your site. We report findings with clear priorities, not a raw list of errors.

  • AI search visibility is getting your brand cited in answers from tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude. You need it because more people now get answers directly from AI instead of clicking links. This work is sometimes called GEO or AEO. Exact market share varies by source, but the shift towards AI answers is well documented.

  • Regular SEO earns rankings in a list of links. AI search visibility earns citations inside an AI answer. They share the same foundation, authoritative and crawlable content, but AI visibility adds specific needs: answer-first structure, question-format headings, FAQ and other schema, named facts and statistics, and access for AI crawlers. The two work best done together.

  • We can write new content or improve your existing content for usability, brand tone, and SEO. If you supply content, we agree a checklist and deadlines so it does not stall the project. Content is usually the slowest part of a web build, so we plan it early.

  • UX copy is the text inside a product: buttons, labels, error messages, and onboarding. Marketing copy sells and persuades on pages and campaigns. UX copy makes a product clear and easy to use. We handle both.

  • Yes. We do multilingual content, including keyword research and SEO writing in each language, plus proper hreflang setup. This grows your visibility in new markets without your language versions competing against each other.

  • As often as you can, though consistency matters more than volume. If time is tight, a good rhythm is two posts a week for the first two months, one a week for the next three, then two a month, always built around real questions your customers search. Every website we build comes with an easy visual blog editor in the CMS, so you can post yourself with our training, or we write the content for you.

  • We agree the metrics that matter up front, such as rankings for target terms, organic traffic, qualified leads, and AI citations, then report against them. We tie reporting to your goals, not vanity numbers.

5. Growth Marketing

Acquisition, conversion, retention, funnels, campaign design, paid media, and research.

  • Growth marketing is the ongoing work of matching your brand and offer to real demand, then improving results at each stage of the funnel. It covers acquisition, conversion, and retention as one system, measured against business outcomes rather than activity.

  • A funnel is the path a person takes from first hearing about you to buying and staying. It has three stages: acquisition brings the right people in, conversion turns them into customers, and retention keeps them buying and referring. Spending only on acquisition wastes the budget if conversion and retention are weak, so we work across all three and design each stage to feed the next.

  • Yes. We plan, build, and manage paid campaigns, including audit and clean-up of existing accounts: bidding, targeting, negative keywords, and network settings. We design campaigns for measurable responses at scale.

  • You do. Ad accounts, analytics, and pixels are set up in your or your company's name. You always have full access to your accounts and history.

  • Yes. Conversion work uses research and testing to improve how many visitors take action, such as page changes, funnel fixes, and A/B tests. It often returns more than adding spend, because you get more from traffic you already have.

  • We agree on the metrics that matter up front, such as qualified leads, cost per acquisition, and revenue, then report against them. Paid campaigns produce early data quickly, though stable results usually build over the first few months as the account is optimised. Organic results come slower, often after the first 6 to 12 months, but these are genuine customers who convert better, spend more, and cost far less.

6. Process, Communication and Reporting

How we run projects, stay in touch, and report on results.

  • Every engagement starts with a discovery phase before any plan or design. We learn your goals, market, customers, and competitors. From there we scope the work, agree a timeline with clear milestones, and move into design, build, and launch, with regular check-ins along the way. A clear process keeps a project on time and on brief.

  • We have one of the shortest lead times around and can usually start within a few days to a week. Once your 50% deposit is settled and we have had the kick-off conversation, we set up your profiles, access, and top-level tasks within 48 hours, and the project begins within 48 hours after that. If we are in a busy stretch, we tell you the revised timing up front.

  • You get a direct point of contact who stays with your project from start to finish, with regular check-ins and milestone reviews. The people who scope your project are the people who deliver it.

  • It depends on the size of the business and its marketing and design needs. An account manager might look after one account or three to four at a time. We do not overload our project coordinators, which keeps responses fast and means they stay genuinely involved and understand your business.

  • We turn requests around as fast as we can. In most cases a single request goes from brief to approved and shipped within 24 to 48 hours. Larger and more complex tasks take longer, and we always tell you our availability and estimated delivery time.

  • We use AI where it genuinely helps, for content research, ad optimisation, and reporting, and we treat AI search visibility as a service in its own right, so your brand gets cited in answers from tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. A person reviews everything before it reaches you. We do not automate the work and hope for the best.

  • Yes. You can see a range of our work in our portfolio, and we are happy to share case studies and, where it fits, put you in touch with a current client in a similar field. Checking references is one of the smartest things you can do before choosing any agency.

7. Pricing and Contracts

What things cost, how we bill, and how we work together.

  • Your budget has a few parts: the spend paid directly to Google, Meta, or wherever your ads run; creative work such as video, banners, or posts; content creation; and management if we run it for you. We work on monthly retainer and per-job pricing. Managing social accounts (Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram) starts at around €3,000 a month, plus roughly €1,000 for each additional account. Video is quoted separately, as requirements vary. The ad spend itself stays separate from our fee and depends on your market and goals. Tell us your goals and we will help you set a realistic budget.

    Tell us about your project
  • There is no minimum. We are a small, agile team, so we take on smaller jobs that run from a few hours to a day or two, right up to full builds. As a guide, a bespoke web platform with SEO, UX before and after launch, brand identity, and SEO and UX content starts from around €12,000.

    Tell us about your project
  • No. We do not charge for onboarding or setup. You only pay for the actual design, development, and documentation. Everything is itemised in the proposal, so there are no hidden fees.

  • Yes. As an Irish business we charge VAT, calculated on top of our fees, and we usually include it in the final proposal, so the figure you approve already accounts for it. In some cases we do not charge VAT when working with countries that do not require it.

  • It depends on the size of the project, but a typical split is 50% on agreeing the work, 30% once the project is complete and ready for final approval, and the final 20% when it is ready to go live and hand over. We set this out in the proposal so there are no surprises.

  • No. Most clients stay with us for years, but if you do leave, you only pay for work completed. You can end a contract early with one month of notice and no penalties. Your domains, hosting, advertising materials, and anything else you paid for stay fully yours. We transfer your domain and hosting free of charge and hand back all your data. We would rather keep your business through results than through a contract.
