Accessibility Statement
Last updated 26 July 2026
We build digital products for a living, so a website nobody can use would be an odd advertisement. We want everyone to be able to read this site, navigate it by keyboard, and reach us.
This statement says where we actually stand, including what is still wrong. It applies to msve.io and everything under it.
Conformance status
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard incorporated into EN 301 549, the European standard for digital accessibility. We are also building against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is expected to replace it in the harmonised standard.
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the standard is met but some content does not yet fully conform. The specific gaps we know about are listed below.
We say “partially” because we have not yet had the site independently audited. We would rather understate this than claim a conformance level we cannot evidence.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure, with a single ordered heading outline on every page.
- A declared page language, so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
- Full keyboard operation of navigation, forms, and the cookie banner, with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colours checked against the WCAG AA contrast minimum on the dark and light surfaces we use.
- Motion that respects your system setting: where you have asked your device to reduce motion, animations, scroll effects, and video scrubbing are shortened or switched off.
- Accessible names on icon-only controls, form fields, and status messages.
- Layouts that reflow to 320px and support browser zoom to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following, and we are working on them. If you hit something not on this list, please tell us.
- No skip link. Keyboard and screen-reader users currently tab through the header on every page before reaching the main content.
- Motion-heavy sections. Some scroll-driven sections carry animation that, while it honours reduced-motion preferences, may still be distracting at default settings.
- Third-party content. Embedded video players and any third-party widget are outside our direct control and may not fully conform.
- Older case-study media. Some earlier portfolio imagery has shorter alternative text than we would write today.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. If you use assistive technology, telling us which one helps us reproduce the problem.
- Email connect@msve.io
- Phone +353 83 1283 399
We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to give you a substantive response within 10 working days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and when to expect it.
If you need something on this site in an alternative format - a document, a case study, or any page content - ask and we will provide it at no cost.
How we assessed this
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by our own team, combining automated testing with manual keyboard and screen-reader checks. It has not been independently verified. We intend to commission an external audit and will update this page, including the conformance status above, with what it finds.
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever we make a significant change to the site.
Scope of our commitment
We hold ourselves to WCAG 2.1 Level AA because it is the right way to build, not because a regulator has told us to. Where accessibility law applies to us, we comply with it; where it does not, the commitment on this page stands anyway.
If you believe we have not responded adequately to an accessibility complaint, you can escalate it to the relevant national authority in the country where you live.
